I can’t believe it has already been a little over a week since David and Laurel’s sweet wedding day! The weather was gorgeous (in spite of some drizzle), and the whole wedding came off so beautifully.  This was the last wedding I accepted before the arrival of our little man in a few weeks, and I’m so glad Laurel trusted a crazy 34 week preggo woman to take her wedding pictures, haha!

David and Laurel, I’m so so happy for you both. May you enjoy many years of married bliss!

OK! These photos turned out so fantastic I couldn’t let the new year come and not have these up on my blog! I’m sure you all noticed from Kate’s wedding photos, that she is quite the stunning bride. When I heard about all of the fun details Kate was planning for her wedding, I pulled aside my stylist friend Jenna, from Splurge Events (see another shoot I did with Jenna here), and she was so sweet to come out to Weatherford and make a really awesome setup for this bridal shoot. I think it’s the longest I’ve ever waited to post a wedding! Which is sad, because I LOVED this wedding.  Back when Kate got engaged, she told me that instead of paying to rent a garden for their wedding, they decided to do it at her parents home and put the money they would have spent on the garden into a new deck and backyard for the house! And to top it all off, her dad built the deck, and her brothers helped with landscaping and stringing lights or lanterns. It just blows my mind! Everyone put in so much hard work to make the day unique and special for Jess and Kate, and the results were well worth it and fun to photograph!
