Do you have a studio?

No. I prefer to shoot at locations that are special to you or fit your personal style.

What is the best time to have my portrait session?

The best time to have your session is 1-2 hours after sunrise, and 1-2 hours before sunset. However, depending on what you have in mind for your session, certain settings (e.g. urban/city) lend themselves to daytime pictures.

When do you recommend getting newborn photos done?

You will get the best results when your baby is between 1 and 10 days old. However, I have done newborn sessions where the baby is much older. Just realize your baby may not cooperate as well the older he/she gets!

What should I wear for my portrait session?

Here are a few tips!

1. Wear COLOR! Avoid too much white. Color adds a lot of interest and uniqueness to your photos, and doesn’t wash out your skin tone.

2. Mix, don’t match! Avoid wearing matching outfits, especially for family photos. Mix two or three colors together!

3. Dress up your outfit with unique or colorful accessories (scarves, shoes, hats, jewelry, etc.).

4. If you are in need of some visual inspiration, check out my Client Wardrobe board on Pinterest. I am always adding new things that might inspire you!

Do you have a referral system?

Yes! Three paid referrals and you are rewarded with 75% off your next portrait session.

Do you travel for weddings or portrait sessions?

Yes! I have frequently traveled for both portraits and weddings.

Can I purchase a CD/DVD of my images?

Yes! When you purchase a DVD of images, you’ll also receive a printing release and a recommendation from me for the best place to get your images printed.

How many weeks after my wedding or portrait session will I be able to view all of my images?

It depends somewhat on how busy the studio schedule is. However, typically portrait sessions are ready within 2 weeks, and weddings within 4 weeks.

Why is photography so expensive?
