The day I headed down to College Station for my bluebonnet shoots, I did a fairly spur of the moment shoot with this fun family! We were fairly short on time, so we just decided to do the photoshoot outside of their own house! It worked out great. I cannot tell you how much I…
Tag Archives: FamilyThis last weekend I had a blast shooting five family sessions in two days. One in north Fort Worth, and the rest in College Station! Full blog posts will come soon, but for now rest your eyes on these goodies. This little girl shares my name….wish we shared the red hair! I’ve always wanted red… I love red hair too!!! Your photos are beautimus, Hope! :D Hooray!! I love the pics and can’t wait to see more! Awwww… How Cute! I know I said I would post wedding photos next, but the other day my sister dropped by with the kids to see the new house since they were in the area. So I’m taking a detour from my original blogging plan. I let the kids roam the backyard and when I saw how cute… I wish I could have as cute of hair that Elizabeth does!!!! Very cute, though I couldn’t really see you trees. Can’t wait until Ivy has enough hair for pigtails. Wow Hope, these are awesome!!! Mel and Elizabeth are super cute! I love the colors outside too… Elizabeth is so cute… love the photos! These pictures are adorable! I wish I could have as cute of hair that Elizabeth does!!!! Yes folks, I am now back to the land of the living. The wedding was beautiful and married life is better than I ever dreamed (pictures of the wedding will come as soon as I have them)! I practically had to force myself to take pictures for you all to see because I was enjoying… Yay! how pretty Hopey! I wish I could go there…=( Yes, yes, you should be very proud of me. I’m staying on top of my photo edits, even with the wedding 10 days away! I took a wonderful break over Christmas and tried not to think about anything wedding, but just relaxing and having fun with family. It worked for the most part, except that… We gave Connor some similar armor for Christmas. SOOOOOO COOL!!! I really like the picture of the Christmas tree ornaments and the picture of Elizabeth’s funny face is SOOOOO CUTE!!! Great Job Hope! With the lens off of the camera you have no control over aperture, just shutter speed. I shot on manual mode (like I always do) in a dark room, so the picture was taken at 1/200 with an ISO of 1600. You may or may not want to have your ISO that high depending on the quality camera you have (my 5D can usually go up to about 3200 without much noise). Also, make sure you manually focus the lens and you should be set! I love the shots in front of the tree – Benj. and I played around trying to get that effect but failed. What kind of lighting/exposure did you have? That idea of having book bags for christmas is so cool! I’ll have to keep that in mind and maybe do that someday :) Hey Hope, I love all your Christmas photos, your niece and nephew’s were very patient and precious! I LOVED the cool effect of your 50 mm lens backwards! How amazing. I was taking pictures of ornaments with my camera too, playing with the manual settings and trying to learn as I go. I enjoy seeing your work! Can’t wait for the wedding/honeymoon photos! I love the 50mm-turned-backward shots! Thanks for sharing your experiences with that technique…I keep seeing that pop up around the blogosphere, but haven’t gone there just yet. =) |
