It was an Amway business meeting, and Casey spotted her right away. Carolyn was a guest, and he had been in the business for a while. “The rest is history” as they say. Casey and Carolyn were engaged in April, and they asked me to photograph their wedding next month and I am so honored!…

A Texan Wedding: TJ and Samantha | Caldwell Wedding Photographer

The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful for TJ and Samantha’s 10.10.10 wedding day. Ah, I see that it was taken with the 16-35 2.8 II, which has very little distortion after 20mm. Anyway, very nice!

Hope - October 26, 2010 - 9:36 pm

Thanks for your comment!

No, I didn’t apply any distortion correction to the image you asked about. I don’t remember, but it is possible I cropped/straightened the image, thus reducing some of the distortion typically found in a wide angle shot.

Benjamin Cahill - October 26, 2010 - 9:05 pm

Did you apply distortion correction to IMG_1718_69? It seems to have very little distortion for 22mm on a full frame.

Great pictures, I especially like IMG_1691_66 for the smile.
